In which case
can I use a macerator?
Thanks to the Tecma macerators it is
possible to install a toilet, a complete bathroom or a kitchen
anywhere even far away from the sewage pipe (basement, understairs, garage, etc….). In fact, a
macerator can be used anywhere an extra sanitary facilities are
needed or wanted.
Tecma macerator boxes allow to discharge
in a small pipe with a diameter of 32 or 40mm into the nearest
sewer. The function cycle is completely automatic and macerates
organic residuals, toilet paper and it pumps wastewater up to a height
of 11m and a distance of 100m.
Which type of macerator can I use?
Tecma is producing two types of
macerators boxes, Sanisplit and Profisplit, and toilets with integrated
macerator, the Prestige range.
With the Sanisplit and Profisplit you can install a complete bathroom(
WC, shower, washing machine, dishwasher, bidet, bath, washbasin,
sink, etc.. )
With the Prestige range you can use a macerator which seems a
normal toilet and keeps the esthetic of the bathroom with its
design.
Are Tecma products expensive?
You’ll find our prices very competitive and in any case they
will reduce installation costs (masonry work) and give you a
complete flexibility. Tecma products will
give you solutions to a competitive prices (including all Tecma products features).
In installation do I have to break the floor and the wall?
No, our products leave you the choice: internal or external
connections.
In case of external connections you can predispose pipes on top of
any floor or tiles.
In case of internal connections you can break and predispose pipes
inside the wall in order to have a perfect aesthetic.
What is the diameter of the discharge pipe?
The diameter is 32or40 and you can use normal pumping pipes (PVC ).
What is the capacity of Tecma
products?
Macerator boxes have 11m head discharge and 100m horizontal
distance with a capacity of 350 l/mn.
Prestige toilets have 6mt head discharge and 60m horizontal
distance with a capacity of 350 l/mn.
Can a washing machine to be installed with Tecma
macerator boxes?
Yes, our macerator boxes have a maximum water temperature of 100°C.
What about a shower or bathtube?
You can connect them to our macerator boxes but you have to
predispose them at a height of min. 20 cm from the floor (to leave
enough gravity to arrive inside Tecma
product)
Will I void the warranty if I install the product by myself?
No, we have concept the product to be easily to install for
everybody, but we suggest to control the installation by a plumber.
How much water does the product consume?
Macerator boxes connected to a toilet have a water consumption of
about 6-9 liters, with an European standard water flush.
Prestige toilets with incorporated macerator have a water
consumption of about 3 liters.
Do I need a ventilation in the bathroom?
The European standard have requested a ventilation for this kind of
product.
In any case our product doesn’t produce bad smell and they
have a predisposed connection in a side of the unit.
Can I use rain or lake water to flush the toilet?
Our Prestige range has a solenoid valve with a filter which allows
to flush the toilet with rain or lake water.
Are the products patented or certified?
All our products have a TÜV certification (GS mark). The TÜV is one
of the most important institute of certification.
Can I use anti freeze products?
If it’s necessary you can use an anti freeze product.
Do I have to make maintenance?
No, there is no maintenance.
What to do in case of a clogging?
You have to call our local assistance service and thanks to our new
grinding system the problems will be immediately solved. Our
macerator has a macerating area separated from the motor/impeller
and therefore it is very easy to remove what is clogging from this
apposite area.
What to do in case of a different problem than clogging?
You have to call our local assistance service and you can make use
of our FAS service, that thanks to our patented Split System will
allow you to separate the mechanical part of our products by hands
and without any tool.
Is the Sanisplit or Profisplit also available with the motor unit
on the left side?
Not, as these products have our patented Split System with
possibility to separate the mechanical part and therefore all
connections must be only in one side of the unit.
